Final Fantasy XIII-2 announced - Games

I liked FFXIII, but I can fully understand where all the hate was coming from. FF doesn't quite make an impact any more like in ye olde days. I sure hope they don't mess this up. Dear god stop making FF games please. I got bored of 13 almost instantly just watching my friend play it for a bit, it's like the same shit over and over.

They have an exclusive KH title for almost every handheld console out there, including the 3DS. Can't they just get on with KH3 :saddowns:

I, II, III, V are the best, in my humble opinion.

V for life, all the others suck.

Personally I couldn't really give a heart for Kingdom Hearts, I ain't really interested in it. The only thing I want from Square is more Chrono Trigger, or at least a remake of the original.

The only FF game I played was Mystic Quest on SuperNintendo I remember I accidentally got stuck behind some boxes and I had to reload a while ago.

It's a direct sequel to the story.

Kinda want. I enjoyed FFXIII. Wonder if they'll change the battle system again and if they do I hope they don't make it like versus XIII

just give the series up, it's shit now.

Square-Enix has so much games on their hands. Kingdom Hearts III will never be released now.

No comment though on the actual subject as I never played XIII 1. Only feel its dumb as if they didn't churn out an -2, they'd probably just put out a re-release in a year or 2 with, like, one thing colored differently or whatever constitutes a Square old game re-release.

I wish they'd stop making all these overwrought Final Fantasy games with crazy-ass battle systems that make no sense, and a crazy-ass story that also makes no sense. Make something nice and simple with a good story (see: Golden Sun), turn-based battles and for god's sake, invent a new art style.

Why name it XIII-2, anyway? Why not call it Final Fantasy XV? Because XIII + 2 = XV (15). Stupid Square Enix, hurry up with KHIII already! (Bein' sarcastic, but I am serious about the KHIII thing.)

Oh my god just let this series die already. Move on to Kingdom Hearts, hell come up with something new.

if its anything like FFX-2 it will be a fucking travesty. Hell FF13 was a 30-hour long tutorial.

Crisis Core is the only one I could be bothered to finish so far, and it was damn good. Dissidia is also not too bad, despite that it's just boss battle after boss battle without any exploration whatsoever.
