Most of them at least, every time I try to launch it it says "failed to lock vertex buffer" and some other stuff. Counterstrike: Source seems to be the only one working, TF2 an HL2: DM do not. Does anyone know a solution? I already did the de-fragmenting of them and the validate files thing.

Restart Steam and Computer, reinstall the games, and post specs.

Don't mind that the error messages are slightly different; it's the same root cause and only affected my Source games running versions Episode 1 and older for some reason.
Restarting steam/reinstalling games/restarting my computer does not work.
