I was watching a video on youtube of the new CS:S beta stuff and this guy replied to my comment about CS:S being a childs game w/ no good gamepaly just TDM. QUOTE- Think CS:S has no good real gamepaly and is a childs game? NOTE: I dont play Halo 3 or MW2.
Sometimes it seems that way when you get a team of nine-year-old douchebags who camp in one spot with the AWP. However, when you have two teams of actually skilled players, the game is quite interesting. The gameplay could be considered lacking now, considering all of the other games out there that have much more than just "shoot the guys on the other team," but it certainly does have its moments. So, in direct answer to your question, it depends on who you're playing with. In Valve's words, "Much of the content in a multiplayer game is largely generated by other players." So if you have good players, the game is generally more enjoyable.

Bullshit poll, they're both the same. Good job
It's absolute shit. The only time I would find it fun is if I was on a server with some friends (the server would have to belong to either me or one of them) on a decent map (which is rare in CS:S) just arsing about - not actually playing it like you're supposed to.
I don't think it has no real gameplay, and I find the game fun
I don't think it has no real gameplay, and I find the game fun
Democracy, American style. 2 Parties which are both bullshit.
then you could say same about TF's and DoD and BF's and CoD's and Halo's and Quake's and all that shit what you...and most people play to pass time,it's mp fps tdm. You complete story part of a game,if it has one,and then you'll hang on mp. PS I didn't vote, that poll is retarded, both answers are same.
Never had a problem with css and it's gameplay. If you can't play it stop complaining and go play another game.
Good job in making one sided shitty Poll. CS:S isn't boring. You are boring.
cs:s' gameplay is too clunky for a modern fps. its fine in short bursts but it gets really irritating when playing it for a while.
Democracy, American style. 2 Parties which are both bullshit.
There's still a third party
Stupid poll. I can't vote since both answers are the same.
Only thing that saved CSS was all the different mods that attracted all the 12 year olds. There is nothing more satisfying than to go into a server and have nerd rage over the mic.
you guys forgot when this game was made.
I think the issue is how CS was played and how it was intended. Why is there radio commands? Why do main guns slow you down? Why can you easily kill someone? Why does moving slow or crouching give you more accuracy? I think CS was intended to be a somewhat realistic tactical squad game that all the fucktards took and make into shit.
I won't vote because I find CS:S a great game, and its the origional MW2. Consider it the grandfather veteran who is still badass, but isn't really ready for the world.
I like the game, I just hate all the players who go around insulting each other and saying they're "uber 1337 pr0s" It's hard to find a game where everyone plays for fun, there are always people that take games way too seriously and ruin things for people like me. :frown:
I think CS:S is boring. Ok, well that doesn't change what you think. Why do people get so mad over each other's opinions? Counter-Strike obviously, like all games, isn't for everyone. Just like everything else, some people like it and there are some that don't. I think it's a well made game, but I just don't like it.
CS:S isn't generic FPS-shooter with weapons and simple, retarded-friendly gameplay. It's the game that made such games generic. I find CS:S completely horrible for me because I don't enjoy competitive skill-game fast-reaction huge-lan-parties pro-games. But it doesn't change the fact that it's great in what it is - something that weekend player can't achieve without being dedicated to this game.
I voted yes anyway. Even though Cs:s is still funish. :v:
Wasn't one of the main driving forces behind the development of CS:S giving good old CS/CZ a gigantic face lift?

What terrible poll options.
It would be a fun game if I wasn't consistently the worst player on the server.
It's fun once you get good, I think most people who say it sucks are bandwagoners who played it for 5 minutes, got raped, and quit
Bullshit poll, they're both the same. Good job
Yeah. I think the game does get repetitive at times, but then you can have really original games. but I do hate the AWP whores.
It's fun once you get good, I think most people who say it sucks are bandwagoners who played it for 5 minutes, got raped, and quit
I love the earlier counter-strikes. Like the Beta's, 1.0-1.6 and condition zero. I just dont know why I dont like CS:S this guy prompted me to post this.
CS:S was good when that was like the only fps multiplayer out in there, then came battlefield, the rise of power of call of duty and so on..., now CS:S is really boring and repetitive, which to me is true
I've spent about 100 hours on CS:S and I play nothing but Office. It's good to go back to between other games.
