Bullet Run is a Free-to-Play action FPS game developed by ACONY games and published by Sony. It was released on the 31st of July 2012. The game's description (copied from Steam):
Set in the near future, the game features the hottest new reality TV game show, Bullet Run, where performance is everything - simply gaining the kill does not win your character fame. Style and attitude, combined with a hair trigger and cat-like reflexes, will bring contestants the fame they crave. Players, also known as 'Contestants,' battle to the death with ammo, weapons and attitude. With fame on the line, an array of customization options will allow players to create unique looks for their characters and ensure the style system spotlight is on them. Matches take place in a variety of settings, each of which provides a different mix of tactical options, play styles and equipment options. Through a revolutionary 'Synth' technology, these reality stars will die, re-incarnate into a new body and jump right back into the action until the match is complete. Death becomes a mere setback as players compete for fame and glory.
Key features (again, copied from Steam)
- FPS Meets Free-To-Play: Free for download for the PC. Also, even though it's on Steam, you need to have a Sony account in order to be able to play it.
piss poor gameplay. the guns feel like they're made out of cardboard, there's absolutely no sense of whether or not you're hitting people with your bullets considering the spread is in a 50x50 box with every bullet landing randomly within it, not even the first shot is accurate to where you're aiming. the active reload is a decent touch, but having that as a "key feature" is a joke. overall i feel like it's a very basic shooter that feels like it should've been released in 2008. i give it a 2/10
overall i feel like it's a very basic shooter that feels like it should've been released in 2008. i give it a 2/10
It pretty much was supposed to. Back then it was called Parabellum, was in beta for fuck knows how long, then the beta ended, game went dark, then came back as this.
bulletrun is a terrible game and you should feel bad for making this thread
bad game first it was parabellum, beta then went dark then it was "reborn" as hedone with the exactly fucking assets etc beta, went dark again and now it has been "reborn" with just a diferent name and the same fucking assets the last thing i knew about this game is that a beta tester i suggested they could add an sprinting feature becouse the game felt kinda dull in terms of movement they sayd it doesnt fit the game and they would never add it a week later sprinting was added :v:
Goddamnit I loved parabellum, and it turned into this?
This game is hilariously bad, but still fun. First TDM game I went something like 56-9 KD, and yet I only JUST earned enough to be able to afford the damage that was done to my gun. How you're meant to buy anything I don't know.
The noise of the starter gun in a level 1 matchmade game... so much for my ears.
The game is bad, it was bad when it was hedone and it is still bad.
