• I have some questions about STALKER:CS- considering to buy it

Alright, so in my wait for Borderlands, I was thinking of getting Clear sky. First; am I going to be missing much if I hadn't beaten the first game? Also, are there any glitches and shit that will totally fuck over the game? The reason I didn't beat the original stalker is that the game would either crash randomly during game play, on the start menu or during a save. Or just overall spazz out and fuck everything up. Also, I would like to know what you people thought of it. Was it enjoyable? Dumb? Thanks.
Just patch it and maybe mod it, no crashing problems.

Second, if you patch the game, it will run fine, IF you have a good rig. Otherwise, just don't get it. I didn't find it very enjoyable, it was kind of boring and stiff. It wasn't fluid gameplay. Just a lot of repetition?
It lacks the depression that Shadow Of Chernobyl had, I can't really describe it, it was just missing that "thing" Shadow of Chernobyl had.
What, is it all sunny and peaceful? Just alot of walking around?

There wasn't anything special. Nothing unique. Just average missions. For me atleast, that got boring in... About 3-4 hours and I just left it (I rented it). If you like the post appocaliptic setting and aren't there just for the shooting, you could try Fallout 3. I'm so gonna get flamed for saying I don't like Stalker. Sure, there are a lot of things to kill, but there isn't anything worth mentioning.
