Steam manages several weeks with random games that you're free to play, few weeks ago it was unreal tournament 3, expect to see more of these things.

I pre-downloaded it before they released it Thursday.
Nothing special, I haven't tried the game until now, and stick to L4D.

Yes, obviously buy a game when you can have some decent fun in a game that's free for 2 days.
It's horrible tbh, I deleted it about an hour ago.
