[BETA] Ryan's TrueBuild - Private SMP Minecraft Server - Games

Since then I've been building up an efficient set of plugins and gaining technical experience. I feel I am now capable of managing a public SMP server that will be as close to 24/7 as I can provide, and every bit as good as any other mainstream FP server. The community on TrueBuild will be welcoming, and your creativity encouraged. [b]Hardware:[/b] Intel i5-670 3.46 GHz over-clocked CPU 4 GB RAM ATI Radeon HD 5970 over-clocked GPU (assists the CPU as well) [b]What to expect:[/b] -Make any attempt to grief, disregard moderators, or just plain disturb the peace of the server, and you will be banned in a heartbeat without warning. -You may build freely, but to a reasonable extent. If you're not sure if something is okay, ASK! Not doing so will constitute a ban. -An anti-theft system is in place, and you will be banned for doing so. -Your (constructive) criticism is welcome. After all, Minecraft is a form of art. -Any feedback/suggestions regarding the server are welcome and won't be ignored. -Simply asking to become a mod does not help your chances. Give legitimate reasons for your candidacy and it will be [i]considered.[/i] -All moderators will be happy to drop everything they are doing to assist you with your issues. However, do not ask for handouts as they will not be given. I also have installed a carefully selected set of plugins. However, due to the frequency of Notch's server updates, there will be periods during which the server may experience downtime. This is because not only do I have to update the actual server, but I have to wait for hey0 to update his mod to work with the new server. Unless under extreme circumstances, I will have a generic backup server running until the mod and all plugins are updated. [b]Also, check out my texture pack! Add one Mr. "Cyberfish" And I like that Texture pack. Gonna use it for a while. Is it compatible with the menu now?

Oh, well my reason is that I already rule the world on another server, and omnipresence gets lame after a while. I thought, "Hey, why not join a FRESH build server and try to establish a Castle there? It may not be a town RP server, but maybe it'll look cool on the Carto and maybe one day I could become an Admin or Mod and help the others in need." Yes, that sounds like a textbook answer. But you know what they say: The more the merrier! :buddy:

Err, I think I suck at operating the patcher. Once I use it, it makes MC start up to a black screen.

Err, I got it to work now, but now when I try to join MP it says "Bad Login"

I figured it out. MCpatcher fucks up your login. After you have patched and ran the game with the patcher, close Minecraft and use the normal .EXE I'm on the server right now.

I haven't made any progress on the texture pack since 0.6 was uploaded. I will probably work on it this weekend. After I finish the terrain textures and the redstone/Nether textures, I'll push it to 0.8 and begin work on animals/GUI. @ sonictrey I'm not at home right now but I'll see if I can connect to the server at home and whitlist you via the command. I think he uses it for all around computing/gaming. I host a SWAT 4 server and shit in the background all day on my PC, and I still play Minecraft/TF2 a lot.
