What items (besides nether items) burn the longest when you set it on fire using flint and steal? Items for a fireplace.
I think logs burn pretty slowly

Why can't you just use good ol' netherstone?
Use netherrack, it burns forever.

Make a fireplace out of bricks and it's fine. As long as there is a good 2 block spaces away from any wood.
