Dj Hero? - Games - Facepunch Forum

Hi, this is my first post/thread so yeah, howsit hanging (Y) Right im gonna go buy DJ Hero toda for £89.99 on release day (today) and im sure i saw that it was released a couple days earlier in America and other countries. Can anyone tell me what its like to play and wether its actually worth buying? Thanks.

I played it at a store and it's really fun and all but I wouldn't pay £90 for it.

if your into the shitty remixed "club" music then i gues you should buy it.

It looks good, but it looks fricking hard. Also i think its a one for christms, im not blowing 90 quid on that shit

You should only buy it if you want to get pro with it. Otherwise you'll get bored fast. I don't recommend it.

I played it in a shop today and it was actually good fun. Not my sort of game as i'd probably get bored of it, but I can see some people really enjoying it.

IGN gave it a 9.0, so it can't be that bad.

This game is getting to me sometimes when i am about to go to sleep i am thinking of the game and then i notice my hand is thinking it's touching the buttons on the DJ wheel thing :ohdear:

A friend of mine bought this on release, we excitedly unboxed it and began the tutorial. Tapping tut. 1 went fine, tutorial 2 was fine, then we came to scratching. now unless 3 of us were doing something completely wrong, the turntable didnt detect rotation of the turn table. So i assume its just a broken unit, which is a shame because it does look wuite fun

A Royal Mail van delivered my copy at 7:20 in the morning yesterday. I thought they were on strike or some shit, what the christ were they playing at actually delivering it? The game is actually awesome though, so good choice in buying it. Totally worth being woken up at some ungodly hour on a saturday for.

I've got it, its got an amazing soundtrack, and its not that hard, i struggle with guitar hero on hard, but DJ Hero introduces you into the harder difficulty's nicely, a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.
