I think till now, the only stuff I dont like is the no lean and no dedicated servers. Sure, I dont use lean much, but it is a feature that most fps nowadays should have, and the dedicated servers... Well... :(

No you're not. Call of Duty was always about showing war in a kinda cinematic, hollywood-movie like way. They're just using special forces in the modern warfare ones because they do more than regular soldiers. There weren't many special forces operating in WWII, so the previous games showed the war from the perspective of a regular soldier. And it wasn't even doing that completely, most of the british missions in the previous Call of Duty games had you playing as a SAS agent and you were also shooting tons of german soldiers and blowing shit up. Remember that mission in Call of Duty 1 where you were in that german ship? It was basically you and captain Price that blew up an entire german military ship. Yeah, that's "regular war" right there.

Not to mention your AI teammates were retarded in the original. I went AFK outside of a doorway and watched hundreds on American Paratroopers run into it single-file and get slaughtered by an MG-42.
