Portal2 Vs Duke Nukem Forever - Games

I voted box because that seemed the most appropriate.

I've never had a Duke Nukem game. Portal was the game that introduced me to Half-Life 2, TF2 and steam, and the internet in general. I literally bought the Orange Box JUST for portal. I'd never heard of any of the other stuff on it.

Portal 2 - playing it till everything in the level eventually becomes unfun. Duke Nukem - kicking ass AND chewing bubblegum. crap, i left my bubblegum at the store.

(Especially when he said buy Portal2 as its funnier). Valve comedy Vs Gearbox comedy call it w/e you want. Fact is: Valve or Gearbox must be wondering if their sales are going to take a hit by the other. Simples.

Both will be good games but they're both different genres.

You can't compare two different genres of games..

This thread isn't about comparing the games, its more of a sensus. They are both big titles by big developers, coming out within a week or two of each other.

I'm getting both because both seem really awesome. Plus the trailer for Duke Nukem Forever was intense.

They [B]ARE[/B] substitutes people, their purposes are the same, the price is roughly equal, you play them both in your pc in singleplayer..., they're very, very similar in a how-do-i-spend-my-money way. Sure, they play completely different, but their function is what matters at the time you open your wallet.

If I had to chose immature crude humor (DNF) or funny, suggestive humor (portal 2) i'd go with Portal 2.
