Im using the the minecraftserver.jar script for running a LAN server so me and my friend can play. I've recently discovered installing mods, like Risugami's Mods.
Im stuck at trying to install mods on the server though.
I'm on a Mac, can someone guide me through the process of getting mods on the server please?

If it's LAN, then you don't need the server jar. On a regular single player world you have an option in the pause menu to "Open as LAN". As long as you and your friend have the mod installed, then it'll work.
Mods like Rigusami's minimap don't need to be installed to the server, that mod is clientside.
That feature doesn't seem to work for me. The other machine is a Windows PC and I can only get a LAN game working using the jar file on the mac.
I suppose I should of said that earlier.

I didn't know there was a minimap, il have a look for that.
