A Building Demolition and Creation Sandbox
Reviewed in PC-Gamer Magazine (Issue 209 70%)
Graham Smith deputy editor says :-
"While graphically basic, the game looks spectacular as a crane
bends, buckles and smashes to the ground. It's the simple
pleasure of watching stuff fall down that makes it fun."
Its available for 5 euro's at http://www.wildebeestgames.com/detonate.htm

I wanna see shit like this in actual videogames.
god that update is sexy
wish I had the money to buy it
Looks good, shame my computer can't run it.
I remember when I thought Bad Company 2 was gonna be like this :frown:
I remember when I thought Bad Company 2 was gonna be like this :frown:
Bad Company 2's destruction are just models switching with a pile of dust.
And the collapse is just a animation.
What do you do if you bought the game, then deleted the email, and eventually uninstalled the game?
I remember when this game was just a demo
it's kind of your fault for deleting the e-mail
Really?!
You're brilliant! I had no idea.
What I'm is wondering, is there any way I could remedy that.
Wish I had the money. I'm broke. :(
I should get this.
There is already a megathread.

The one from November 2009 that died long ago?
There's nothing quite so entertaining as watching a virtual building burn down.
Can anyone help me building a bridge?
Everytime if I try to make a bridge this happends:

From what I can tell, the support towers are falling due to non-equal forces. Extend the bridge ends some distance away from the support towers and connect them.

Did that, made new bridge, pressed accidently esc, everything gone, and now im pissed.

Re-doing again.
I wonder if they fixed some of the creation errors. Whenever I build considerably large buildings, I get errors when I just to destroy them.
Edit:
And does anyone know how to get the updates? I think mine's still at version 1 even though I bought it a few months ago.

Let me know how it turns out.
The middle seems to be too heavy, even thought I made it as light as possible, maybe the material I use is too heavy? I use, those yellow X's and wood.
[img_thumb]http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/8329/bridgecollapse2.jpg[/img_thumb]
Removed everything under the water part of the bridge, still collapses.
What the hell?
I thought this was free. :saddowns:

The demo was, but hey, 5 Euro's isn't that much and it will keep the developers alive!

Then how comes there is a update coming this month featuring improved physics, fire and dynamic spreading and new effects?
The water effects are still chinese and the fire sounds are annoying, but other than that it's still okayish.

Can you use stronger connections between the bridge and the towers? If so, do it. If not, replace the towers with underwater supports.
I'll have to buy this during christmas. I know that I will have hours of fun with this.

The collapse is physics based but not that varied.
I'd buy this now, but I already spent most of my money on an airsoft gun. I'll wait untill sometime after Christmas.
Can you still shoot balls at the buildings?
Shit, update?
Lost my Detonate a while ago. :sigh:
