Every time I launch this game, the game freezes and i have to ctrl + alt + delete and close the window. I've tried some crap like "validating game files trough game" and changing resolutions to smaller. But no, none of those wont work. The singleplayer worked ONCE today, and im not sure what is did there. So, does any of you have samekind of problems, if so and you know how to fix it, please answer ASAP. PS. don't rate me late, couldn't find another thread about this.
At least post your specs?
I don't think it's about my computers specs, because all the other call of duties have worked very well... But yea, i'll try to find out and edit this post.
Firewall?
I dunno if it's about firewall. Haven't heard any complaintments about that. And no, can't be about my computers specs. CoD 5 had same requirements and worked with about 60 fps.
Lower your Graphical Settings to Normal and keep the game's Resolution at about half your screen's actual resolution.
Lower your Graphical Settings to Normal and keep the game's Resolution at about half your screen's actual resolution.
He can't even launch it, how will he do that?
Bumped cause i need help. Also radioactive, I can't even launch it, and the resolutions are 800x600 in the game, because I have pressed the "safe mode" button.

Of course I don't know which, but CoD4 wouldn't start for me either unless I got rid of a certain file that had sounds in it, such as the C-130's engines, and music. Don't see how MW2 would be much different
Stop being an awkward prat and just post your specs, It can be useful, for example some ATI cards (esp legacy cards) have been having issues when they don't have the latest drivers.
I don't really even know where to find my computers specs, and i have downloaded the drivers for the second time. My graphics card is something ... Ati radeon HD 4850, if i remember correctly.
Press win+R. Type "dxdiag" without the quotes. Post the specs here. [editline]04:15PM[/editline] Or just screenshot it I don't know.
pic is supposed to work. Triple Core Processor... Ewwwwww
Seriously, doesn't ANYONE know what to do?
Seriously, doesn't ANYONE know what to do?
Tried asking on official mw2 forum?
Yep, i have made a thread in mw2 forums, and they responded that there is yet no fix to that. WTF, infinity ward. WTF.
I'm having a problem similar to this however it only occurs when steam in online. When playing in offline mode I have no such problem. But whenever I try to even just start the game it will run the opening for about 3-7 seconds and then freeze forcing me to end the program with control alt delete. Any solutions for that little conundrum?
