Ive been pretty exited about Modern Warfare 2 for a long time now. Got it on day of release. Was loving online, campaign and special ops.
I know that the servers went down last night because of Sony not having there own servers among other things.
I've been trying to play online for the past 4-5 hours and once I get past the first to load screens and try to get into a game it just fails horribly and wont connect me no matter how long i wait.
Does anyone else have/had this problem or one like it?
Also, i remember hearing somewhere that 360's get better connection to you'r router (mine is quite far from my Ps3, i only get about 50% signal strength; never been a problem before though). So would it be worth selling my PS3 and getting a 360 (i work at Game and get 25% discount so it wouldn't be expensive).

I actually think the PS3 has better wireless connectivity than the 360. I've owned both. The only real difference was I had to purchase an adapter for my 360 and besides that I had no problems with wireless connectivity.
It seems to be a problem with your end, no matter the console. Check to see if your router is blocking your outgoing connection. I doubt it has to do with the PS3 itself (unless it is a defective one).
How can you be pretty exited?
I've got it for the PS3 and I have no problems wirelessly connecting to my router whatsoever.
