Hello one and all.

Argos are currently doing a trade in offer, if you trade in any 2 of the selected games you get a price reduction of Red Dead Redemption to £9.99.

This also includes to other games, Split Second and Blur.

Rats, I basically gave my copy of world at war to my friend (although we still do play it for zombies). I might trade in CoD 4 to get the game at £22.50/

My sources from a 'friend' say that only 25 stores are participating in the trade in thingy... and they are all in England...

This is weird because I myself live in Scotland and we bought a Scottish Newspaper and there was the deal in a large leaflet.

Can anyone brighten the deal for the Scottish?

These trade-ins are horrible. I'd rather spend the extra time and effort selling my games on Amazon or EBay.

Honestly, I bought my AC2 for the same price as Red Dead Redemption (what it's going for right now) and I bought WaW for about the same as well. I can get at least half the original price if I sell em off on Amazon.

But I guess it's quicker trading in and just getting the game.

You could pick up two fairly cheap copies of COD4 or WaW at some shops these days that will get you some cash off RDR. I ordered mine from Play.com and its posted, so here's hoping i get it today ;D

I've sent an email to argos asking them why its only selected stores AND why it's advertised in a Scottish Newspaper.
