Shouldn't the bots co-ordinate better with players? - Games

Now i wouldn't call myself a good or regular player but today i had my first use of Drow. I went 16/8 (the deaths would have been a lot less if not for the last part of the game) Which was pretty good for me. The problem was my team... of bots. Now whilst the enemy team regularly created 4 man ganks and pushes and the like my team rarely did anything of the sort. Infact Zeus didn't even want to lane with me.. he just hid behind a bush in a way that wouldn't get him a gank. (zues infact fed) The enemy team had double the amount of kills than us. My team defiantly prolonged the game because they wouldn't push with me but defended occasionally. Is it so hard to give the bots a "this is what the fleshlings are doing, act accordingly!! Is anyone else annoyed with how bots are always better when they are your antagonist?

The opponent bots are organized bastards, always walking in 5man groups ganking everyone with a single hive mind. The allied bots think of you as an unknown unit on their team, and will most of the time discard you as useless, they assign you a lane at the start of the game, no matter what you think, and wont switch. If you ping a place, all 4 bots will go there, no matter what. If you want them to go back, they will do so, after 2 minutes. You can easily get them to defend, or attack, a single point, at any given time, but more than that, too hard.

They start to organise themselves. Hell, this actually proves robots are better than humans

I was Visage, they gave me midlane, I go bottom saying fuck that, and they just stare at me, with their cold, dead, soul less, robotic eyes. I stand there. The creep comes. I last hit 2 times. They are there. Mid tower is getting destroyed. I go mid.

I'd like a player vs bot match where the bot team isn't compromised of Windrunner, Tiny, Vengeful Spirit, Sven and one random hero usually Kunkka or Sniper. Stunlocking, the game.

Or they instastun you when you initiate every god damn time.

I wish they added new heroes able to be bots, kind of boring playing against the same thing everytime. Stuns. Stuns. Stuns.

Bots are fucking stupid. Every time i try to play a game alone or a wtf game with my friends, all the bots immediately run into the enemy fountain. It's fucking retarded.

Visage would be no where near as complex as Invoker..

They can just code him like any other spell dependant hero, but they can't make him follow random builds, so maybe they will have to code him in different ways as well as lots of code for each way. Huh, maybe he wasn't that easy after all, Visage would be really easy to code in comparison though. 2 active abilities, bot perfect micro, this would pretty much enable a free 6 second stun like everyone thinks a human Visage can do, as it will predict your travel time and instantly go for a stun when you can't run away in time.

Bots don't assign you a lane, they either let you solo lane depending on your hero or they get a support to help you usually. You can also order them around by pinging. If there's a bot in your lane, you can ping the enemy and they will initiate with whatever they got and they won't stop until you tell them to. In other words, you can tell the bots to go to their deaths and they will do it gladly for you. [editline]9th September 2012[/editline] The only problem I notice with bots is that when you want to defend a tower, you can ping it and they will come unless they are already pushing a lane. Once they are pushing a lane, the enemy team can destroy all of your towers all the way up to T4 before the bots will come back and defend. It's extremely frustrating. That's why I go AOE usually when I practice with bots.

I just had an entire team of medium difficulty bots follow me into the well. When I had full health. When we still had tier 2 towers up.

I think when some mongaloid chooses a shit hero, realizes it's shit then rq's and we're left with a hero sat at base, why not let a bot take over? bots aren't great but it would be better than just dragging a lower level hero around with you surely :/ That's my opinion anyway also I've played about 50 bot games in everyone the bots pick Kunka in about 20 Sniper was there and 30 times Crystal Maiden
