Does anyone know if there are any survival type games available?
One example of a survival game that I have already played is the survival mode in Minecraft. It is fairly fun, but I would like to play one that has more features and better gameplay. Could anyone give me a suggestion?

Deus is a old DOS Survival game, its pretty good.

In the topic of survival games, what was that one game were you crash on a planet and you can choose to be a human,robot or alien and as a human you could build just about anything. it had inventory, hunger, temperature. A lot of cool features.

there is a stranded gamemode for gmod where you have to craft your furniture, harvest resources, build a shelter, grow your food and make water safe to drink and stuff

If you have a DS, there is this game called Lost in Blue, I think it has a sequel as well, it's a lot of fun, you might find a copy on ebay or somethin.
Lost in Blue is pretty awesome. I have it on my DS, but it's difficult at times.
I wish I could play Lost In Blue, the mic on my DS is broken so I can't start fires. :saddowns:
Dwarf Fortress definitely starts out like this. It is a struggle to survive, and honestly it never gets much easier.
Also, for multiplayer, there is Wurm Online. It is a pretty awesome survival game with lots of different ways to play it.

Survival mode in minecraft should require you to eat/sleep like Stranded. It would make it a lot more challenging.
Wurm is probably the best you are gonna get if you seek a good multiplayer survival game.

Also, does anyone know any free medieval-style RPG games? Something like oblivion or mount and blade but free?
