Eurogamer Expo 2012 - Brits Get To Play Games Again - Games

[IMG]http://www.gamezinfo.com/sites/default/files/eurogamer-expo-2012.jpg[/IMG] The biggest thing in the UK to do with video games is coming up in roughly 10 days so I figured I'd make the thread again this year. As with last year it's being held in Earls Court, London and on the following dates: Thursday 27th September - Tickets still available for the day and afternoon Friday 28th -Tickets still available for the day and afternoon Saturday 29th - No tickets Sunday 30th - Only afternoon tickets left but who wants that What about some of the games that will be there this year!! [B]What's on[/B] -Assassins Creed 3 -BLOPS 2 -Dishonoured -Far Cry 3 -GRiD 2 -Halo 4 -Metal Gear Raiden edition -Need for Speed Most Wanted -New Super Mario Brothers U -Sim City -Zombie U and of course [IMG]http://images.eurogamer.net/2012/expo/site/game-logos/just-dance-4.png/EG11/resize/200x96[/IMG] but generally lots of cool games. Some games are also there which have been out for a while now, including Serious Sam 3, Sniper Elite and Borderlands will be there despite coming out a week beforehand. [B]Developer Sessions [/B]Last year the developer sessions were a bit crap, but this year it's much much better so here's a run down of the best ones. Thursday - Hideo Kojima (which is why I'm going on thursday) and the guy who made Dayz (Dean Hall) Friday - Chet from Valve doing a talk on getting jobs in the game industry. Later on in the day the devs of dishonored will be on also. Saturday - Dishonored devs again, weakest day for talks Sunday - Chet doing his talk again as the final talk of the whole weekend, and at lunch peter molyneux is doing a talk on his amazing box clicking simulator. Yeah, I've missed out a few bits which you can see [URL="http://www.eurogamer.net/expo/whats-on#developer-sessions"]here[/URL]. So yeah, anyone from Facepunch going this year?

This is mainly the devs finally getting round to the UK and not announcing anything new, just showing stuff they've already announced.

Do note that Abe's Oddysee HD/Oddworld Studios is going to be there too. They're also having a "Mudocon" fan meetup after their official session.

I'll be there on the Friday, looking forward to it. Shame most of the good stuff is in the 18 section and I'm bloody 17.

I've got my Thursday ticket ready, would of liked to go friday for Valve's developer session but that's when I go back to uni :c

I hope you'll tell us how shit is new NFS and how good is new SimCity.

I'd go if I could get there at the weekend as I work during the week -_- and need transport.

I wonder if they might show off the Oculus Rift prototype since Doom 3 will be on the show floor.

My college is taking everyone on my course to Eurogamer this year and next because we're doing Games Design, looking forward to seeing Gabe :v:

I really want to go to this but I can't find any cheap ways to get to London from Manchester, they all push upwards of £100 and I want to get some college friends to come along too so that's pushing a lot of money onto them. Eurogamer isn't a big enough place to be sending their CEO to for a talk where there might not be as much proper talent as there might be at Gamescom.

Works everytime.

Since nobody can drive and they're broke from B2 and other games is anyone interested in meeting up for a pseudo Facepunch meet? We can talk to Chet and act cool.
