E3 2010 Discussion - Games - Facepunch Forum

Well the Electronic Entertainment Expo of 2010 has begun! So far there has been very little mainstream content released, but the big stars of the show this year (rumored to be Gran Turismo 5, Portal 2, HL2: Ep3) will have spread rumors and the critics will speculate, so all aboard the hype train! Feel free to post and discuss recent news and rumors surrounding the event. Personally, I'd love to hear about the new Zelda game for the Wii.

I just hope there's something surprising. Every year I cross my dick and hope that an ethereal being from Square Enix is going to float out on to the stage and say "lol we're remaking FF7 on the PS3" and then I will cream myself and forget about all the other shit that said company has pumped out for the last ten years.

Postal 3, The Old Republic, Dead Space 2 (or anything by Visceral), Hitman 4, Bethesda stuff - hopefully new Call of Cthulhu games and The Last Guardian

I don't follow video game news at all, so I dunno if it's possible/already been denied/ect, but I'd LOVE to see the next GTA announced. Ir's been over 2 years since GTA4 came out.

I loved Ico and SotC was a really deep experience for me, but this new game looks to outdo both of those.

RDR is made by Santa Monica and GTA is Rockstar North. It's being made, no announcement yet. Teased, yes.

So Valve will show a Portal 2 Trailer for sure... But then maybe right after that without saying anything the HL2:EP3 trailer just starts. I would jizz so hard.

I wonder if they'll show that LA Noire game. It's been vaporware until recently.

Personally, I'm looking forward to Trico (Last Guardian) and anything new that uses Sony Move

Going to make sure I don't miss it this year.

I just want to see postal 3, ep3, portal2, and possible gta5 at e3

I am sort of looking towards to see what the Playstation Move offers, and if I want to invest in it. In games though: Oblivion V BattleField 3 Ep3 Games I am not looking forward to: Fallout: New Vegas - I think it will be over hyped and is just a fill in until the next fallout n the series.

When are the main conferences, love the sony and microsoft ones, yet nintendo bores me. Imagine how awesome it would be if at the end of a Portal 2 trailer the view would be of a camera, the camera would break down thus killing the view, then you hear GLaDOS say something about fixing it and then about 10-15 seconds later you see Alyx over you shouting something. Instant Portal-2-Ep3 switch. :buddy:
