Endorphin - Dynamic Motion Synthesis - Games

Endorphin can be used to generate computer simulations of large numbers of independent characters interacting with each other and the world according to brief scripts or 'behaviours'. It combines physics, AI, and genetic algorithms to create realistic animations. Endorphin is also made by the developers of Euphoria (which is a engine used in GTA IV, Star wars: Force Unleashed and Indiana Jones. So basically it lets you "animate" if you'd like, but animation is hard. Except, this is really easy and extremely fun. This program (pro version though) has been used to animate stuff for Tekken 5 and The movie Troy. Just had fun with this earlier this week. Such a shame all my saved scenes were on the older computer. I had like hundreds of scenes there.

Has someone made physical walking? Like, walking without any animations and such?

Oh cool, they have a free version now? I was taking a look at doing this but I couldn't find a trial. Downloading now, let's see what this baby can do. :smile: how is this version different from the full one?

downloaded, playing around with the tutorials now. this is easier than i thought :v:

I use to play around with this alot. Would be better in some type of sandbox/game form.(Think of GTAIV mixed with endorphin tools)

I used to play around with this a while ago. I could only add behaviours n stuff to the characters but it kept me entertained for quite some time.

i made sum epic things, also, i got the full version, and you cant use the free version scenes :/

All them videos were showing is crappy already made little jump animations and a ragdoll falling. REAL Endorphin users use animations to the limit and use the ragdoll physics only a little bit.

So, how would I extract my scenes out of Endorphin? I wanna show you guys my coolness.

I got bored of it when I realised it was too complicated to do anything good for something which I only had a mild interest in.

Endorphin's ragdolls are too sloppy to be great fun, IMO. They are FUN, but they could be great fun!
