On the mapping section someone recently mentioned that it is a bitch using HL2/episode 2/GMod to test their maps, because although relatively fast, isn't made for just viewing maps. He also mentioned that an awesome HL2 mod would be a basic mod that mounts various source games, like GMod and runs maps.

If someone has some eperience in modding, and would be interested then please comment.

You can get banned for requesting a mod. It has happened before.
You can use a .bsp viewer, like Crafty, for this if you only need to view maps.
