How do you unlock a single achievement? (Achievement Unlocker?)

I ran in to an achievement on L4D2 called Crass Menagerie. I have 4 out of 4 uncommon killed and it didn't unlock. I don't want all achievements unlocked and since I've never used the unlocker before I have no idea how to work the darn thing. My question is, when you click unlock all achievements, will it only unlock the ones that are checked or will it automatically unlock all of them?

Ok thanks, one last question. There are two .exe's. One is called SAM.Game and one is called SAM.Picker. They look exactly the same but SAM.Picker has a pink steam icon. Which one should I use?

Ok so, I have 31 achievements out of 50 now. 31 of them are already checked off when I open the menu. When I check off Crass Menagerie and unlock them, will I re-earn all 31 achievements from before again?

You tick the ones you want to have unlocked, including the ones already unlocked. Then click the little symbol in the top-right that looks a little like a radio antenna. And it will unlock the ones that you have ticked.
If you have already unlocked a ticked one, nothing will happen to that achievement.

Thanks for clearing that up. Now I can stop obsessing over that one achievement not unlocking.
