Got $44. Worth getting Lich King for a guy who's highest is level 29? - Games

Yeah I haven't had any characters way up in the levels because I've had to keep switching servers to play with my friends but now I told them to get fucked so I can get a good character. Is it worth spending the $44 on Lich King or should I just get something else?

Yes I have the Burning Crusade. And me and my buddy are going to start on a server and level together but if he switches I won't. So I plan on playing it quite a bit.

Just buy it when you get to level 70. No sense in buying it early because you might change your mind.

If you play some-what actively, you can get a lvl60 char in a week (And no, not a DK) And I know RaF isn't good for newbies, but since his highest lvl is 29 so what the hell, why not level up faster anyway. I got to 60 in about 2 and a half weeks, which it would have taken me months.

Its buying an expansion pack. So its the same as you buying half life ep 1/2.

if you get it, there's a new profession called inscription, with it you can make stuff like those stat boost scrolls such as scroll of stamina, and you get to make a scroll that teleports you to where your herth is set (if you are a higher lvl than the scroll you are using, you get teleported to a random place). Also you can create glyphs which power up certain spells.

Don't buy it til you actually need it to continue in-game. Lots of people buy it and say they are going to 80 and then change their mind after further gameplay.

get it if you don't want to spend days on end leveling inscription because you didn't get to start at a lower level.
