Wad files made for DSDoom - Play Half-Life, Counter-Strike and Goldeneye on the DS!

And now, for the introduction.

[b]What are these?[/b]
These are homebrew wads for Doom 1, ported in the DS, with lots of hard work.

[b]What are homebrew wads?[/b]
The wad file is a file that contains all the graphics of a game.
Doom without a wad file is totally unplayable.
Homebrew/Custom wads are graphical modifacations of games, or maps for the HL1 engine.

[b]What games are included in the pack?[/b]
Doom 1 / original Doom WAD
Doom 2 / original Doom WAD
Doom TNT / original Doom WAD
Plutonia / original Doom WAD
007 Goldeneye / Homebrew WAD
Star Wars / Homebrew WAD
Counter-Strike 1 / Homebrew WAD
Counter-Strike 2 / Homebrew WAD
Star Trek / Homebrew WAD
Alien Vendetta / Homebrew WAD
Half Life / Homebrew WAD

[b]Great! How do I install it in my flashcard?[/b]
When you extract the files (downloads in end of post), you’ll get a folder named DSDoomExtrem or something like that. Inside it is a “data” folder which contains other folders and the “game menu.nds” file.
Copy the data folder in the root of your flashcard.
Boot up your DS, and you’ll find “DS DOOM prBoom DS Port v1.1.2”, execute it, select “Standard Game” (or network game, whatever you want) and select the wad you want to play.

[b]I already have DSDoom, how can I know which one is which?[/b]
Use the wad you have in DSDoom and use it in this special version.

First of all, made by different people, different font and bg screen. CS3 is a combination and the best IMHO.

Counter-Strike 1: CSS Weapons in CS 1.6 de_dust - No Map, all weapons available.

Counter-Strike 2: CS 1.5 weapons in CS 1.5 de_dust - Map, Starts with Glock and Knife

I can get to the part where you choose single/multiplayer or something, but then when I select one of them, the screen just goes black :(

Are you sure you put the required files (wad, prboom cfg's etc) in the root of your flashcard? This one has better installation.

Well, considering the wads are mostly run 'n' gun, TFC wouldn't be that great. Except if someone ported 2fort, added some bad guys, converted the key into a flag, and when you take the key/flag you rush into your base and enter the key into a door to win the match.

Also, no Y-Axis because they're wads for doom, not completely new engines.

No, just a flashcard. Drag 'n' Drop, without any dldi patching.

There's some problems on saving and changing settings on some wads though.

I made a video for 3 of the best :P

The guy also made Chex Quest and Batman, but I'm not sure if I understood how to update.
