• Modern Warfare 2 level similar to MOHPA?

The campaign of MW2 is just amazing, probably the best campaign i have played in a very long time. Just imagining that that might be what an actually war on North American soil looks like. However, the first level MW2 has a very close resemblance to the first level of "Medal of Honor Pacific Assault". The most noticeable feature is the bridge and the buildings directly in front. The bridge seems to be broken in roughly the same spot in both games. The buildings in front of the beach also bear a resemblance. One could even argue that the spikes in mohpa are a similar hiding place to the rocks in MW2. Mohpa, this level involves a broken bridge, water, and a wall of enemy's shooting at you. MW2 has a broken bridge, water, and a wall of enemy's shooting at you. After watching these 2 parts of the games tell me what you think. Was it a remake of the level or was it just a coincidence. They aren't similar at all They just both have a bridge, water, and enemies
COD 1 had something like that too.
This just in, there's bridges in warfare!
No, they just wanted to show off their fancy new portable bridge vehicle in Modern Warfare 2. How else would they be able to make it exciting? "Quick! Unfold the bridge, we need to get across!" "But general, it's jamming up!" "NOOOO!! The enemy is only dozens of miles away!!!"
Similar? Yes, but that's just a coincidence. One is an amphibious assault and the other is something completely different. Oh, and that's a pier/jetty by the way. :eng101:
Whoa. I thought this too. But I didn't know why since I hardly played Pacific Assault.
Personally, I thought the campaign in MW2 was really lacking. Any campaign I can beat in less than 6 hours really isn't worth my time these days. The whole last act of the game barely made any sense.
I somehow beat the game in about 4 hours, so yeah, the campaign was pretty weak.
I actually get sick and tired of most games nowadays after 5 hours(or less) so the lenght of MW2's campaign was just right for me.
"TAKE COVER UNDER THE PIER" Yeah, nice bridge.

Or someone who enjoys and hopes for a fun experience and an additional multiplayer component. Yeah, the entire Campaign was really boring. The story had millions of plot holes and it really just didn't work with me.

Medal Of Honor to me will always be better.
This level is similar because I am looking at the screen for it.
What the hell are you talking about, the MW2 campaign was probably the most exciting and awesome singleplayer experience I've had in a really long time.
Not really. People who don't get off on Michael Bay and shitty plots don't like a game that is like a Michael Bay movie with a shitty plot. They tried way too hard.
if you bought mw2 for the campaign your an idiot.
Because the pc multiplayer is fantastic right?
What.
What.
The PC multiplayer has no dedicated servers, a crap player limit and above all a horrible matchmaking service.
Because the pc multiplayer is fantastic right?
It isn't terrible, but it isn't the best. It is decent.
Yeah I know all the bad stuff. I hate Activision with a passion. But it probably isn't bad.
Generation kill my man.
First thing i thought of when i saw that level. It's almost perfectly the same, if my memory is right.
They're no where near in similarity...
Yes they are. Quit being dumb. Also, when people say it's similar to Generation Kill. Are you talking about the part when they're outside of Baghdad at night and when theirs caravan gets ambushed in the city?

Tho i don't think they did it on purpose, but used it for inspiration.
