Hi, I am thinking of purchasing FF13. When I am done with the Main story, can I then do the Side quests?
No. Don't buy it, it's a disappointment as game and as a Final Fantasy. But if you still crave FF style RPG goodness tell me what your console of choice is.
The add at the bottom has to do with cutting dental costs. How does that relate to final fantasy in any way? Anyway I digress, buy the earlier ones first for the story.
It can be hit and miss to be honest. I've been a long term fan of series but just couldn't stand more than a few hours of the game, however, I've talked to other like-minded fans who really enjoyed it. So your best bet is to rent or borrow the game first to make sure you aren't wasting your money.
I borrowed it from a friend and ended up playing it for around 60 hours. It's a fun game, but I have to agree with Wiggles about Final Fantasy fans not liking it, since it didn't really feel like a Final Fantasy game to me until disk 3. If you're looking for a safer bet and have a 360, there are quite a few good jRPGs you can get. To name a few, there's Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Infinite Undiscovery, and Tales of Vesperia. I've played all of them and they're all very good.
I am selling my 360 to buy a PS3. There are soo many PS3 games ill probably go for the LBP, Modnation Racers and 3d dot game heroes.
