Im searching good racing game but i cant decide. Is need for speed shift best in the racing games category ?

Simulators? Arcade style? PC or consoles? What consoles?

Racedriver's GRID is great fun! I'm not that much into racing games but I really enjoy GRID!
Depends on if you want an arcade-style racing game or a racing sim.
For arcade, there's GRID, Dirt and Trackmania, plus some of the NFS games.
For a race sim, try rFactor.

Personally I've heard great things about Live for Speed in the simulator department. People go as far as to say that it is the best racing simulator in existence.
GRID is probably the best racing game I've played on PC. It's not a sim but it isn't exactly arcady either. It's challenging and has a great mix of tracks and cars.

DIRT and GRID are my top picks.
Burnout Revenge is on the 360 and it's fairly old, as well as Burnout Paradise.
And both are very good arcade style racers.
