Don't you feel bad because Counter Strike, Half-Life, or Day Of Defeat isn't being cared of Valve? Do you want new stuff here? Me too, and Valve shoud found a team that cares about this games. Like: VALVe Retro. This team would... -Fix game bugs -Update the game with new weapons, maps, gamemodes...etc. -Update it with additions in gameplay What do you think?
Companies cannot actively support their games forever, especially not companies with several dozen extremely popular titles. Eventually they're going to have to stop being updated.
those games are old hat and have all been made obsolete (with the obvious exception of half life, but you just don't update single player games with extra free content for obvious reasons)
Well actually Valve game eventually reach a point where the fans know every aspect of every detail of their games and can effectively take over at maintaining them. Find the lamb... i mean mod teams, they'll know what to do.
First, why fix whats not broken? Dod:S and CS:S aren't broken imo, they have few minor bugs and work fantastically. the only thing they could add is new weapons. like, in dod:S bring the british maps/weaponry back. also grease gun. gimee it back.
Improve Source engine / Hammer
What about new maps? :hurr:
What about new maps? :hurr:
So people could just ignore them and keep playing cs_office and de_dust2?
People still bother with playing the original DoD and Counterstrike? Nothing is broken, messing with it could cause more problems.
Everythings fine
Make Midnight Riders DLC
Yes games don't get supported forever but CS is the most popular multiplayer shooter of all time and Valve has a track record of good support so it's kinda weird that they ignore CS these days.

What do I think? Boy you don't want to know :clint:
CS 1.6 is taken more of then CSS in some ways, like if you look at the scoreboard in CS1.6 you can see people's avatars, and in CSS you can't.

Fix L4D2 for the people who can't play it.
Valve needs to hurry the fuck up with EP3
