The best truck driving game (or similar).

I've been looking for the best game where I could just take out the steering wheel and roll along, which lead me to the conlusion that a truckin' game would be the best option (correct me if you've got something better though :buddy:.

I've been looking at 18WOS, Rig n roll and some others, but I'm not really familiar with the games. I've played them long ago, and now I'm looking for the best one which has good graphics, big maps, good set of features and polished feel and gameplay.

So, does anyone have any idea if a game would fit this description? Gameplay is a N1 factor, followed by graphics. It also needs to be "free roaming" if that's possible.

Carbon and Shift are completely different. The AI in Shift aren't as good as the AI in GRID.

If you're looking for a real Simulator, try Live For Speed.

If you want a racing sim that has more mods than Hl2 and 1 combined then rFactor.

if you want an actual trucking game, Euro Truck Simulator + Mods

AI crashing and stuff, it seems alot more realistic in GRID. At the end of the day though, they're both arcade.

I never really liked the previous NFS games; most wanted and underground etc. But I really enjoyed Shift, it's a proper circuit racer.
