Hi guys
I've discovered Hailan Rising, a free mmorpg pvp-oriented currently in the Alpha phase of development and it looks very promising with its great lore, the quality of its graphics and its original gameplay features : large-scale PvP, territory control, no level and no class, enormous combinations of abilities and variety of items...
Even if I am new in Facepunch community, I would like to invite you all to visit the Hailan Rising page on KickStarter.com for the new video, screenshots and a lot of informations on the game!
I hope you'll like it more than any game you've played so far... if it's possible.
Bye bye

edit : corrected "Facepunch"
I recommend you to put some effort into the thread. This thread is in my opinion are bad, really bad. You did not even spell Facepuch right. Sadcat.
That MMORPG seem bad too, just the fact you/they use other games to describe the game makes me do a virtual facepalm. A CoD MMO? You/they/whatever cannot just sum up two popular things and automatically think that are going to be good. In fact, that would make the game to a pile of carp.
Okay, someone stop me please, I cannot stop flaming.

I bet that one is made in paint :v:
I take it back, that game seem pretty serious after all, however I still state that describing a game using other games are bad.
EDIT: I cannot spell it either.
For a second I read that as "Hailan Racing" and got really excited for a racing MMO. Severely disappointed.
I take it back, that game seem pretty serious after all, however I still state that describing a game using other games are bad.
Well I think that the game will really resemble to DaoC and (to some extent) CoD : DaoC for its massive PvP and its numerous innovative MMORPG features that are still praised by gamers and CoD for... Well I never played CoD (nor Hailan Rising actually) so I can't explain the comparison. Maybe it has to do with the instant pvp action or the level-less system... We could ask on the Kickstarter page, there's a FAQ where we can ask questions to producers.
In my opinion, comparing a game to another is one of the simpliest and effective way to describe it.
EDIT: I cannot spell it either.
So we're quits! ^^ I will edit my post, didn't notice it was written in one word.

As I understand, this game is still under development so I have no idea how you are supposed to play that.
It is simple to explain games by comparing them to others because in general every single MMO is similar to others. The age of creativity is gone and now almost every game is a remake of other, popular games.
