• Looking for RTS with unit levelling

I'm looking for an RTS with a unit levelling system, like Company of Heroes, but with the gameplay of a RTS with heaps of units and base building and all that. I've had this craving for something like this for ages, and I've been wondering if there's something out there like this. Any suggestions? Also, if you know any Steampunk RTS's in general, show me those too.
I've heard Dawn of War is very very very similar to CoH (or the other way around) so maybe you should try that.
Pretty much all the C&C games have unit experience and ranks and stuff, if you mean weapon upgrades the only thing I can think of is Dawn of War.

Dawn of War with Heroes Mod = Basebuilding and exprience and levelling.
Majesty 1 and 2. Very different from CoH, but has unit levelling. Majesty 1 especially is awesome, even if graphically a bit outdated. I wonder if there are more games like Majesty..
Weirdly enough Supreme Commander has a unit leveling system.
Warcraft 3?
Dawn of War Dark Crusade / Soulstorm have rpg mods, they also include some smart adjustable AI system. Soulstorm: http://dawnofwar.filefront.com/file/Dawn_Of_Skirmish;96254
Empires Total War has a Unit Experience system, and oddly enough, it somehow makes you take care of your units and use them wisely, unlike the other Total War games, I don't know why, they're basically the same system, Oh well
Weirdly enough Supreme Commander has a unit leveling system.
Rated agree but only for the super units. Why the disagree? Super units in supreme commander level up and get a HUGE amount of health regen if they kill a certain amount of enemy units to discourage unit spam as a defensive tactic.
WarCraft 3 does, i think, but only for the heroes...
use the map editor, you can make every unit level up
