I've played DDO for quite a few months now, getting quite repetitive.
I've heard LOTR is alright, whats your views on this?
I play it all the time. I like Monster Play the most, It's a nice mix up from the average MMO stuff.
I love it >:D PvP is pretty awesome, raid contents gurd (atleast it was during the "vanilla phase", haven't reached the new max yet :3).
With the last expansion they released "skirmishes" which are basically mini solo instances in which you have to fight off waves of mobs and the like. Gives good exp and gear :3 which is good as it's an alternative to questing/grinding :eng101:
However, one thing I don't like is that lack of flexibility with classes. Each class seems to have a set role in groups, unlike WoW :pirate:. For example, a minstrel is the primary healing class. They can't really DPS in a raid and defiantly can't tank. Although, the Rune-Keeper was released with the first expansion and can be used as a healer or DPS in raids :D fun.
So yeah, I think it's a great game but certain aspects (such as the flexibility of certain classes) could be improve slightly.
Haven't tried it much past the trial, its an ok game tho.
Very fun game. I'm kind of lonely though, since my friends don't play it :(
It's a good game but every time I get into it it fails to pull me in and keep my attention past level 15 or so.

The same thing happens to me. Every time I rejoin I seem to get bored within a week. I found the game became a lot more entertaining after level 40 though. Not sure why...
Just felt like a big boy :pervert:
Then again, that seems to happen to me when I play most MMOs. Attention span of a Gnat :iiam:
If any of you guys are in [EU]Eldar we should meet.
Elf language...
Everywhere.
Anyone play on brandywine?
It's the only MMO I was content paying $10/month for even when I don't play it for months at a time. Excellent community, amazing character customization and roleplay, lush world, fine storytelling, fun classes. It's got just about everything going for it, but I too find that after playing it for so long, I'll get bored within a week (usually less) every time I come back to it. Of course, I've been playing since beta and haven't even reached level 40 yet, meaning I'm getting left out of a LOT of content, so I would probably play it more if I would just make that push into higher level content.
I have been playing LOTR - Siege of MirkwoodFun. It's fun, fast spawns create much chaos, very little lag even though servers are crowded.
After recently quitting WoW out of boredom of the endgame content I needed a new MMO to go to. I tried out the trial for it and within an hour I was hooked. It's a very stable game and runs really well and looks amazing. Everywhere you go, the scenery is great. It's absolutely beautiful. It feels more like an RPG than any MMO I've ever played. Of course my opinion is only based on playing for a little over 30 hours, but I think it's very nice. I've played EQ2, WoW, Vanguard and Aion and so far the questing in this has been much more fun than any of them.
Plus the instrument system in the game is genius. My brother and I have been playing tons of music on our RP server and watching as people crowd around us and clap their hands. It's great fun. I'd recommend it to anyone.
I tried the trial, it was pretty ok actually. I guess it would've been funnier if I had friends to play with.
i personally hated it but the problem is that i played wow first :/ so leveling feels just to long on it but ive seen the higher end content and gameplay and it looks pgood but i cant be bothered to play any other mmos
