• Call of Duty World at War or Battlefield 2?

Ok, so I'm recklessly impulsive when it comes to buying or wanting anything. Today, I was looking on Steam for something fun to buy, and saw WaW. I remembered when I wanted it before, my PC had not been upgraded yet, and at that time I had to settle for the Wii version. :suicide: And I just randomly decided: "I want a World at War with graphics from this century, zombies, and multiplayer with dedicated servers." But then I remembered I had been wanting BF2 for a while now also. But my only worry is that the game is so old no one really plays anymore. If I get WaW, I'm pretty sure I'll get BF2 sometime in the future, if I go with BF2, I might not even end up getting WaW. What do you guys think?
Battlefield 2. It is extremely popular.
If you're going to get BF2, you might as well get Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It has similar gameplay, but graphics from this decade. And you can't go wrong with destructable environments.

Well. Both have barely decent communities which use their own retarded tactics. BF2 has bunny hopping and dolphin diving and team killing WaW has shitty people mixed with shitty behavior and team killing But BF2 is much better
Battlefield 2. Tons upon tons of fun. Jet Fighters, airstrikes, suicide bombings (I was an anti-tank terror :v: ). Honestly, I had a lot more fun playing the Battlefield games than I did playing the CoD games.
I'd say WaW purely for Nazi Zombies. BF2 was really pretty shitty when I played it. Everyone dolphin dived and camped the spawns with planes. The only fun I got out of it was playing against 20 bots with a friend, which got old fast.

I just got BF2 actually, all the servers are laggy with stupid rules and stuff like that. But WaW has its problems too.
Playing on a good Battlefield 2 server, such as Texas Teamplayers or whatever it's called, or any other tactical servers are fun. But the gold of BF2 is being able to play Project Reality, a mod.
Well I'm downloading a BF2 demo that I found on Gamespot. According to my usual compulsiveness, I'll probably buy WaW right now, then I'll wish I had gotten BF2 within 5 minutes.
If your gonna complain about dolphin diving, there is way more drop shooting in CoD games. BF2 is pretty fun once you learn what to do and get the good unlocks. If you can, get some friends to play with you and a mic. Sometimes nade spamming is pretty bad but mostly only in Strike on Karkand.
I bought World At War. What did I just do? :byodood: Well at least I have maybe an hour before I regret anything. I'll probably get BF2 soon.

You just wasted your money. Congratulations.
You just wasted your money. Congratulations.
Honestly, I'd argue that Nazi Zombies is worth it, but that's because I loveeee Nazi Zombies. Plus, the campaign isn't too terrible and it's got co-op.
You just wasted your money. Congratulations.
Nazi Zombies is well worth it if you have friends to play it with. BF2.. not so much. For Multiplayer and Realism get BF2 For Singleplayer and Nazi Zombies get WAW
neither.
Battlefield 2 fuck yeah. Used to dominate that shit in my clan. I'd fly a 2 seater jet around the map, and fly low over a teammate who needed a lift, he'd jump, get in, I'd fly over the place he wanted to go, he'd get out, and his squad spawn on him. Oh and don't get me started on my godammed aerial acrobatics. Nothing more satisfying than flying a jet up, stalling it, jumping out, watching your pursuer totally overshoot and lose control, and then hop back into the jet midfall. I have some very very fond memories of Battlefield 2.
Definitely BF2 although the shooting can be very buggy. Still it's a great game, you don't get often games where you charge with 30 buddies a city. It's overall a nice experience. The different classes are also innovative.
battlefield 2.
Call of Duty: World at War if you would like singleplayer, and some multiplayer. Battlefield 2 if you just want multiplayer. I like CoD: WaW more, but that's just my opinion, and I understand if not many others think this. However, it got a great story and, leaves you thinking. It's also quite brutal, and that is a plus for me, because I like games where you can understand how it was. I'm sure i don't get the whole thing though, that is impossible for me to do. Also Nazi-Zombies. However, if you would like another game with a better story, get Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. It's awesome, with a kinda good multiplayer too.
Mutliplayer is pretty fun in World at War. Reminds me of Call of Duty 2. No it does; I'm not trolling.
If you like playing with a community that actually plays as a team, get Battlefield 2 and download Project Reality.
There's still a lot of players in Bf2, and if you find a good squad it's fucking awesome.
Tf2, faggot.
and that was relevant how?
These days I would go for WaW. BF2 is not as good as it used to be. BF2 has project reality though.
Well. Both have barely decent communities which use their own retarded tactics. Yeah, the worst thing you can do is crouchspam. BF2 is NOT the same as BFBC2. BF2 is more vehicle oriented whereas in BC2 everyone can destroy a vehicle in a very quick time so it's more of a support thing. Go get bf2 cause it's going to be a long living game. [editline]01:06PM[/editline] Oh and get a mic. Bf2 has built-in voip inside the squads.
