Looking for awesome online Risk/World domination games

Hi there, I am looking for Risk or World domination games, I have googled for years and I can´t find anything.

Been playing Afterwind for a while now, it is good it´s just that it gets boring because of the level of detail.
All you do basically is drag a dot to a city and so on.
Anyone got a cool game to show me?

*I don´t want a poor flash game or something like that.
*It has to be multiplayer online.

And by the way, does an online risk game where you conquer countries and they stay conquered?
That would be awesome, if you know what I mean. Like a persistant world, where one guy can actually get the whole world.
You see where I am going with this?

It doesnt have mutiplayer I think, not sure tbh I never played it.
