*Note*: No More Room In Hell is indeed being developed in a timely manner, and with expected quality of a top notch release. For those of you who are reminded of the long 6+ year stretch of stalling and various fail points in the mods develpoment history, the days of that have been over since about one year ago.
Media showcasing the progress of development: (Note that this was recorded several months ago, and during the time between then and now, we have come a lot further and expanded greatly on what you see in the video below.)

Good to see that this mod is alive! Would be great to help but it's a shame that I am rather incompetent at most things.

Nothing shameful about that, we're happy as it is to be reminded by people such as yourself that the support for our hard work is still there.
If you've come farther than in that video, I'm scared of how good the mod is going to be when it's finished.

Trust me, seeing what the rest of the team does day by day, I sometimes get scared myself. It is pretty awesome. The part I love most about being on the team is being able to watch a group of people use the source engine and orange box to its fullest potential.
We have taken alot of the "Oh no Source can't perform that task, it's just not designed for it" statements and turned them into "Oh really? Explain this to me then..." scenarios.
Anyhow, I will return to this thread in several hours, it's time for me to head off to work. Hope to hear more from you guys in here.
I have lost all hype about years ago but the video was interesting and the swarm of zombies at the end also does the mod have a hospital map?I always wanted to barricade in a hospital.
Looks better than zombie panic.
[del]going to send an application[/del] sent
[del]going to send an application[/del] sent
Hey, I checked out the application you sent, it seems pretty acceptable- I and the lead programmer have checked out your portfolio of work and love it already. But the final decision is not in any way mine. That being said, I have notified our project leader of the application.
It may be a few days to a week or two before you get a reply due to his recovery period from surgery, but he will definately give you an answer once he takes a look at it. Keep checking on the thread every day or so, though- our development team will more than likely give their input on your portfolio for what it's worth.
Send me a PM if you have any contact info such as MSN/WLM, email etc that you use actively.
As for everyone else, keep sending in the applications, don't stop until we close this thread! We will close the thread once we have made our final decisions on new team members, so keep em coming until then.
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
