I manage to loose only Jacob and Legion, but missed out on pussy, which means I am still faithful to Liara which I romanced in the first game. Wonder if that save will have something to say in ME3 love wise. What was your best outcome in ME2, and how do I save them all? Doing the personal quest's did not assist matters like I thought. And Admiral Koris is a dick.
Personally, I did everyone's loyalty missions and made super-sure to use the correct squad configurations, like a loyal Jack being the biotic shielder, sending Legion into the vents, having Mordin be the guy who escorted folks back, Miranda as Fireteam leader. First game had me bouncing into bed with Liara, who helped a great deal with Shepard's visions, but after being revived in ME2 I went with starry-eyed Tali, the tech-savvy lass who was generally kinda awesome, even if she was pretty "situational" in regards to her effectiveness in the field; like Legion she was better-equipped to using her powers against synthetics, of which there weren't all that many in the Collector Base. To be honest, as a Sentinel, my Shepard worked better in conjunction with other biotics, setting up combos and unleashing the power of the Warp upon the Reapers. Personally, I feel that if Tali's tech-oriented abilities were strong against Reaper/Collector enemies, I woulda used her a lot more. Didn't help that ME3's main mission progression was pretty linear, wherein I couldn't go deal with the geth-quarian situation before that arc with the turians, krogan and salarians, which was a pity because if I coulda done the Geth arc before the Krogan arc, I'd have been able to bring Tali with me on that particular adventure...
