This is a huge mod that's been in development for a couple years now, right now it's in version 4.6, but the next release 5.0 is its first "real" release meaning all the models, textures, vehicles, and units of the ww1 era are going to be released. The mods really fucking amazing, [U]but development is very slow due to a small team and no animators. They are always looking for help though![/U]

Currently 4.6 is the base for the mod, it only re-skined the units, and added some game elements, 5.0 will bring everything into place with polish, its still extremely fun

Why did they put Heidi in the game? It was built after the war and used by the Freikorps. Do the tanks not have working cannons or something? There was at least one female A7V they could have used instead if they just wanted machine guns.

World War I was actually worse than World War II, if I'm not mistaken. It's just overshadowed in history because the second one had the holocaust and more casualties. The conditions in the first world war were actually far worse though.

To put it simply, you'd rather be a WWII soldier than a WWI soldier.

That picture is as far as I can tell a regular A7V, the one in the screenshots is one of the two "Heidi" pattern tanks that weren't built until after the war.

To be fair, it depends on the front and the country, in WW1 the British soldier only spend about 90 days in the field per year, sounds much better than being in the Red Army 1941-42.
