Alright about a few hours ago, I was playing MW2, little drunk, but none the less having a good old time...in fact, I was getting my butt handed to me. So I decided to leave TDM and go to Free 4 All.. I play this every once in awhile to test my uber leetness... lol kidding I suck. Anyways I killed one of the guys and a little message popped up and of course being slightly intoxicated I couldnt see it. Then the match ended and I got the congrats you made it to Honor/rank/whatever 70! Minus the excitement. Now, I dont play MW2 that often, but when I do its to kill people and enjoy myself. And I was prior to this super advance evolution in my rank, I was rank 38. I was slightly pissed off because I enjoy unlocking things here and there and I hate handouts. By the time I realized what the heck was going on another match started then I was kicked out. Now, I am not banned I can still play, however I decided to prestige so I could reearn everything, because I really didnt like this.
I have two questions. One. Is there any way to reverse this at all? I would rather start off fresh again and reearn my way back up. And two, why exactly did this happen. I tired as hell but confused and curious as to how my average game play was immediately turned into woot I am awesome. Please answer?
I am tired and wont be able to sleep until I know how this happened and what can be done about it....I never even got to freaking level up normally.
Hacked lobby, I think you can reverse it...but i'm not quite sure.
Prestige. Only way I think, or contact IW or Steam, they might help.

I doubt it, you cant just join modded lobbies randomly.

Actually, you can.
I've tried that quite a few times, never servers that cheats with the XP though.

3rd person deathmatch used to be a cesspool of hacked servers.
On the free weekends i got in like 6 different hacked lobbies in a row.
