Good GTA: SA mods? - Games - Facepunch Forum

What are some of the must-have mods for GTA:SA? I recently got GTA:SA and I was wondering if there were any good gameplay or graphics mods for GTA:SA. I would also like some help in installing them. Thanks in advance.

I'm mainly looking for singleplayer mods, though I will try Multi Theft Auto out.

Their is this really awesome map thats on a tropical Island that I can't remeber the name of. Also there is Akina that is a downhill drift map

This forces the game to use all your hi res textures all the time, and stop unloading them constantly in order to keep the RAM usage down so 2003 era PCs can handle it, which eliminates the awful texture pop in you get from installing the texture packs entirely. If you don't, the pop in is often so bad you'll be looking at something like this for a few seconds before the landscape loads. Just don't install the Jose or Big Smoke ones, they appear to crash the game for me.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll be sure to try them out. I've been having a bug however. Every once in a while the screen will suddenly go black and I have to restart the game to fix it. Anyone else have this bug and know how to fix it?
