the one where you have to exterminate the ghosts on the ship, by time i killed 2 they killed halve of anvil. damn ghost!
the ones where I can't fast travel to the location because I haven't been there yet.
So then you look at the map for things close to the quest location that you can fast travel too and then you realize you have to fast travel all the way to Anvil and trek all the fucking way north near the border of the mother fucking map to do some lame ass mage's guild quest before you even get into the guild.
I'M LAZY
lM HAVING TROUBLE GETTING THE WATER AIRBORNE YOU SEE.
Also ones that require following somebody, but they move so fucking slow. If you try to go faster than them to the location because you've done this quest about a hundred times before, but if you get too far ahead they decide to sit there and stop moving,
You know, there IS a dead elder scrolls forum:

Fixed, thanks to Hezzy. There's also bethesda's own forum about Oblivion: http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.php?showforum=3
Seriously though. The most annoying quest I've been on was probably part of the main quest chain. Getting the aire to Bruma.
I had a horse, and expected him to also get on a horse. Instead he went by foot all the way to the next point. I think it was to find that wizard. Even still he kept going by foot, never thinking of wanting to use a horse.
First quest.
Fuck you Uriel.
None, but while I was trying to find a random drop, it took foreeevvveerrrr, that was hard.
Go find this shit and bring it back quests
The quest with that insane elf that murdered someone and asked to be met behind some house at midnight, forgot its name but it was annoying and funny.
edit:
It was at Skingrad and he was a Wood Elf named Glarthir.

Most of the Fighter's Guild quests.
Closing all those damn gates because they kept spawning right beside a road. I tried to rush through them but eventually I just used the code to shut them down.
Following Baurus in the sewers. Boring as hell.
find allies for bruma :argh:
I went to every god damn city in the game, and got rid of every Oblivion Gate outside of each one. My reward? Oh, about one guard each sent to help in the battle. Fuck that quest.

You can fast travel and they'll come with you.
The fucking mage recommendation quests. Took so fucking long.
Anything that required the sewers, caves or dark boring tunnels.
Oblivions Gates
*Not a quest as such* - Getting the ingredients to cure vampireism(sp?)
Oblivion had pretty good quests actually. I mostly played the Brotherhood and Thieves' Guild ones, which were awesome. Those Fighters' and the magic ones were a bit dull though.
I hate the quest where you have to help defend some town and all you get is this shitty tshirt.
That mages quest where you go to collect those "tears" or what they are.
lM HAVING TROUBLE GETTING THE WATER AIRBORNE YOU SEE.
I wonder if anybody did that quest legit
The quest to rid yourself of vampirism.
Buggy piece of crap, I had to go into the console to make the lady spawn again just to finish the quest :\
And getting expelled from the mages guild lead to this annoying quest where you have to go pick 12 of this flower that I could never find, took me forever ;_;
Damn fine game, though !

This, and you end up doing them so many times

This, until my friend gave me this xbox magazine disc that gave me the mages tower content.
Shit's got an enchanting thingy and a spellmaking thingy. Makes getting into the mages guild pretty much useless in my opinion.
Most of the main quest actually, it didn't appeal to me.
The fucking mage recommendation quests. Took so fucking long.
Worth it though. The Mages Guild quest line was the best in the game.

I didn't find it funny, just pure annoying after seeing him chase me every goddamn time I enter Skingrad.
That Fighters guild quest where you had to escort 2 guys into a mine and one them was full of himself.
They both died and i had to listen to people talk about it for the rest of the game.
