W/L/A stands for Wins/Losses/Abandonments.
Mine are: 77/106/10
I hardly agree. Why clutter the megathread with this?
Why would you want to post this in the megathread anyways?
To dickwave?
How do you have so many abandonments compared to the rest of your games
How do you have so many abandonments compared to the rest of your games
I was wondering the same thing. I have around 1000 total games and only about 3 abandons..
-nvm people don't want this thread here so
4/2/0
0/500/1000

At the start of my dota career, my family and friends didn't get it, so they asked me to do things that would take me 5-10 min. I'd get an abandonment.
I have 52 abandons, because I am a bad person.
22/25/1
That abandonment was a connection issue, and I reconnected JUST after the 5min leeway :/
I made a new account to play with a friend who never played dota before. It was a massacre (41 kills). Later I checked the other players accounts, and some of them had 0/10 W/L.
I felt so so bad :-(
Good thing with diretide I can practice with my friend without having to worry about the W/L ratio. Im glad valve avoided that % mark in the main game, but dotabuff ... brought the rage behavior back (ie must not loose and make % bad). The less you know the better sometimes.
Imo, W/L ratio doesn't mean anything in terms of reflecting the player's skill.
1/4 of all my games are bullshit events like people not speaking same language, instalock 4 agil carrys, etc.
212/211/7
All abandons were when the lose connection once and you cant reconnect shit was going on
246/228/5
I'm doing good as of late.
666/420/69
0 wins, 2 losses, 2 abandons.
Holy crap I'm awful :V
Then again I've been playing mostly Diretide since I started playing and before that I played a couple matches and rage quitted because I didn't understand how anything worked.
You should play Bots for a few days before human players.
0 wins, 2 losses, 2 abandons.

If you're just playing Diretide and for the items then why play Dota2 at all?
And as for how everything works; be fast with your mouse movement, bind your bags and learn to use control-groups for ur hero, cour and thing, and read, try and/or see how all the spells work.
Mine have been tainted >:( Fucking all pick I just gets teams of people playing: Drow/Jug/Riki/Magnus or heroes with ridiculous stuns copying their builds from fucking dotafire.com then I found the Single Draft gamemode

2 abandonments were because of chores, I'd say roughly 40% of my losses were due to people quitting the game right as it damn started or in the first 10 minutes. I don't think many, if any, of the wins were because of me.
To clarify, I have about 30 hours on the game and I only really started playing around the start of Diretide since I wanted to see what the fuss was about. Before then I was incredibly confused but now I have a decent understanding of how the game works. Still have to learn what all the items are and the hero abilities, but I know stuff like how to get the courier to deliver stuff, last hits + denies, that kind of thing.
I still need to figure out control groups though. Hopefully next time I report my stats I have a couple of wins?
edit: Currently reading through every hero's abilities, then I'll get down to business for the items.

I should stop playing the more support-ish heroes, I'm constantly paired up with people who don't know how to play properly.
