For some reason Half-Life instantly crashes when I launch it from Steam. At first it would load up the map right around the time you see like the second or so tank and then freeze and crash, so I tried verifying cache but now it doesn't even load. Just shows menu screen for a second and instantly crashes. I tried reinstalling multiple times but it still doesn't work. It worked fine before so I have no idea what happened.
Google something like "Half life 1 ctd" If you haven't already :v:

Already tried, just gives me stuff about Half Life 2 or old, irrelevant things.

Hmm that could be it, I recently turned that on to fix a problem with another game and ever since Max Payne 2 hasn't been launching.
