Im not a really good thread writer but ill do what i can, I mainly created this for the discussion of dead rising 2 and that people will know better about it. A bunch of this i didnt really write i just ripped from sites and edited, though i have read over everything and changed some things with the things i know. This is my first `real` thread and im not that good at it really, so dont expect any godlike writen stuff.
[B]Story[/B]
Dead Rising 2 is set several years after the infamous zombie invasion of Willamette. Unfortunately, the zombie virus was not contained at the conclusion of Dead Rising, spreading unchecked throughout the United States and Dead Rising 2 depicts a country where zombie outbreaks continue to strike. The player will have to fight zombies in "Fortune City", a gambling paradise inspired by Las Vegas. The developers Blue Castle Games will be working with Keiji Inafune, the game's producer and Capcom's global head of research and development, along with other Dead Rising team members.
Dead Rising 2 will be multi-platform as it will be released on the Xbox 360, PS3 and Pc. It will be released on August 31'st in America and Probably Canada also, Sept. 2nd in Japan and Europe on Sept. 3rd

Former national Motocross champion Chuck Greene is the reluctant hero of Dead Rising 2. Before he hit the big time with a team and sponsorship behind him, Chuck was forced to repair his own bikes, leaving him incredibly resourceful; a real handyman. A single father, Chuck dotes on his daughter Katey who, since the loss of her mother, he will do anything for.

Katey Greene is the daughter of motorcross champion Chuck Greene. She comes to Fortune City with her father during the outbreak. After being bitten by a zombie, Katey needs to be given a dose of Zombrex every day in order to prevent her from turning. Because of the steep cost of Zombrex, Chuck Greene becomes a contestant in Terror Is Reality in order to make money.

Stacy Forsythe is a "Zombie Rights Activist" that appears in Dead Rising 2 and will most likely be an obstacle for Chuck Greene and other survivors. However, some videos show that she could be a ally to Chuck. It is unknown what she is doing in Fortune City.

Tyrone King is the bombastic host and producer of Terror is Reality, the controversial pay-per-view game show sponsored by Zombrex. Killing zombies is just part of the show, critics be damned. The only thing that really matters to Tyrone is the bottom line.
I didnt add the twins because I felt they where not that important.

Multiplayer
[/B]Like millions of Americans, Chuck Greene is gripped by the TV sensation that is Terror is Reality. Hosted by the flamboyant Tyrone King and ably assisted by his two glamorous co hosts, Terror is Reality pits ordinary members of the public against an arena full of zombies with a simple challenge – kill more zombies than your opponents and stay alive with the winner collecting big money and the chance to come back and secure even greater prizes. Like a modern day gladiatorial contest, those lucky enough to get a grandstand seat urge the contestants to spill more zombie blood, with over the top takedowns greeted by rapturous applause and the promise of slow motion replays on the arena’s jumbotron.

Asides from the more traditional four player mode, the game features a two player Co-Op mode. Two players will be able to take control of two different Chuck Greenes and complete the story mode together. Getting level ups WILL be integrated, and will be saved for BOTH players. If they find a combo card that player will keep it, regardless of host status. Money will also be saved for both players. During story progression only the host will keep story progress.

If you have any suggestions or fixes to this thread tell me and ill add it becuase i know this thread is lacking information in some points, tell me what to add.. For the mean time discuss what you think of the game and whatnot.
Is there splitscreen at all?
From the ammount of requests people have been saying for it, it is most likely they will try, but the game is graphics heavy as it is so it might just remain online.
I hope Frank West is in the game at least as a zombie.

I made the character portrates myself, theres no real good ones out there, and how do i use media tags?
Im going into town so I cannot edit anything for around 30 minutes, while im gone I guess just pile up requests and ill see what I can do when i get back.
Is it just me or Katey looks... weird.
