What pet should i pick for leveling, and what spec for leveling?

I just rolled a level 11 dwarf hunter i had a LONG time ago, and all my chars are 80 (3) and i just want to level a hunter considering they said they are fun.

So, again: what spec for leveling and pet?

Pvp pet and spec?

Pvp spec would have to be cat because of stealth.

Or spider/crab or anything that can snare/root if you like it that way.

For leveling go beastmaster and you should get a spider for webbing

Pvp you should take a spider or crab imo, and my bro told me beastmaster is better than survival for pvp after the latest patches. If not beastmaster then go survival.

You should check out arenajunkies and check peoples gear and specs

Go BM and get a bear, great pets for soloing. Also I would suggest getting a tiger for lower level pvp and try marksmanship or BM. When you get 80 MM is the way to go for pvp with either a spider or a crab.

I do MM for level and I used a bear.

In pvp I used a spider because of the webbing. Also was a MM spec.

you dont die with MM if you are talented enough at the game to bind feign death to f + you kill everything 4x faster than BM

For levling go BM. When you hit 6o go to un'goro and get a devilsaur. Best pet ingame

Devilsaur is the best pet damage wise.

BM was good in TBC, not as good now. MM is great for levelling, Survival is great for gearing up at 80 then back to MM imo.

once you get to level 60 its better to go surv until you get misdirection but then afetr that MM owns again

my point was that if he's new to hunters he's likely not going to be a talented hunter right away, with BM FD is a last resort, not a necessity

I have a 80 Hunter, and had a great time leveling it. Level Survival, the crit and inceased health is fantastic for soloing, I do ICC, I think I know this, MM isn't any good until you have a metric fuckton of armor penetration.
