I got the SDK thngie 5.1 and im running Windows XP, I even downloaded the sound sample from the tutorial, but no, the extraction fails...
Why? Is my computer drunk? Is faceposer consumed by over the top extraterrestrial powers? Is the very gods trolling me?

I just wanted to find a solution :)
Manual placement is ALWAYS better than automatic recognition, since the API leaves 50% of <sil>, floods the WAV with non-recognized phonemes, and just fails.
I just extract so it gets the words in, then I delete all the phonemes it did and redo them myself.

I had to do 7 minutes of lipsync manually in Faceposer. Results were tremendous, time taken was forever D:
Do it manually if you want it to look decent.
Do you have Vista?
Because if you do the Speech SDK doesn't work
