and i'll just point out that CA has had 10 releases, and this one is the first game where they're pulling bullshit on us.
that's alot better than more than half game developers, whack a stick at them instead.
i guess it's true what they say. (doing it often makes it a habit and you won't notice. translates to, if other companies shit on us enough, we will stop noticing. but itf their record is flawless, we baww like there's no tomorrow.) still hoping it'll weather off.

There is a mod for that.
Some of the minor nations are a bit bugged, but yeah there is a mod that unlocks all of them.

Finally! So they are adding it? I'm going to sign up for the beta and see if I can play it, even though I do not own the game yet. I doubt it'll work but maybe. I assume that by the time this gets out it's worth buying? If so I'll get this for christmas.
What do you think, is it worth the money?

How are turns handeled? Waiting for a player to do his turn isn't really an option, but having players do their turn at the same time can also cause for issues...
Right now its I go, you go. I think they should add an option to make turns simultaneous tho.
Also there's hardly and people there and most of them quit after a few turns since they lost a battle or something. If anyone wants to play a quick game with me (That is, until 1750, or one us dies) add me to steam, check the buttons below my avatar.
Oh and there's no need to finish it all in one sitting, we can save and load later.

The turns have time limits. Would have been cool if more than two players could take part in a campaign at once, but I guess you can't have everything.

I'm planning on buying this for christmas, I love the demo. Are there many people playing online? Also one more thing, is Napoleon Total War a new game or just a standalone expansion, I can't seem to figure it out.
Yeah it's a standalone expansion type of thing. I don't know how many people play online, I just play with friends when they want to.
There's something awesome about marching soldiers in a nice little line and have them shoot at each other until one side is dead.

Yep, though I think you need the same people to join the saved game, you can't host a save and have new people join

it IS free. it WILL be free, that's what they've promised.
I think you can play a saved game with other people, I saw some guys opening 1702, 1705 saves etc., and they weren't with a pass so they probably weren't waiting for someone specific.
