Medal of Honor (2010) - this time it's got modern warfare in it

Medal of Honor is returning, except this time they've gone and set it in the present/near future. I dunno how they come up with this awesome shit but it's crazy!
Not much info out yet, but the site's up http://www.medalofhonor.com/ and there's a brief and vague synopsis.
Operating directly under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors are called on when the mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators.
Over 2 million Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines wear the uniform. Of those, approximately 50 thousand fall under the direct control of the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a plane of existence above and beyond even the most highly trained Special Operations Forces. Their exact numbers, while classified, hover in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence. The new Medal of Honor is inspired by and has been developed with Tier 1 Operators from this elite community. Players will step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile battlefield conditions of present day Afghanistan.
There is a new enemy. There is a new war. There is a new warrior. He is Tier 1.
If it's anywhere near as good as Allied Assault I'll be all like "this is great :)"
Trailer is out!

not sure if this is a good thing, but if it's anything like Frontlines was, I will be happy.
I really hope it's not just Afghanistan, but at the same time if it has an epic plot like CoD4 it'll be criticised (even more) for ripping it off.
I'd like a remake of Allied Assault and it's expansion packs.
Just cybepunk-ified. Plasma rifles, robots, techno, and nazi's.
Here's to it being better than Modern Warfare 2.
It won't be hard to top Airborne.
My dream come true. Hopefully it'll be as good as Allied Assault and Frontlines.
but its ea lol and ea neve maek good games XDDD also they kill kitties
So there's a super secret elite military unit who nobody knows about who just so happen to be willing to help a game developer and thus bring themselves to the publics attention.

I loved Airborne. :saddowns:
As for this new MoH, I dunno, a part of me would like it if they remained in WW2.
But hey, we'll see, maybe it's gonna be the best game in the series.
I never played anything more than the demo of Airborne. Why was it so bad? The concept was awesome.
Ehh...EA? They're probably going to charge you buy weapons and maps once the game comes out.

6 missions doing the same stuff, multi-player was boring and small.
God dammit EA, the new Medal of Honor should be in Vietnam!

i liked the weapon upgrade system, but there needed to be quicksave.
I loved the first Medal of Honor :D!

We all know that it'll just be retired delta ops and such and EA'll just make them seem like unstoppable one man killing machines.

there should be parts where you have gay sex with your comrades and rape villagers. its the only way to capture the feel of being a retired special forces guy in afghanistan :911:
Sounds like Ground Branch. Being made by the guys who worked on Raven Shield and GR1 I'd rather get that.
Where the hell would you get a crazy idea like modern warfare
Fuck teir 1 , I WANT BLACK OPS

Have you even played any of the recent MOH games?
Because they're not one-man army games.
DICE is making the multiplayer.
Medal of Honor Modern Warfare : Oscar Mike Stay Frosty
set it in the present/near future
What a surprise.
Did anyone actually think the new MoH game wouldn't be set in the present/near future? EA may be the third most evil games company in the world, but they're not blind.
Please be as good as Allied Assault. That shit was golden.

DICE is working on the multiplayer. FUCK YES!
While not brilliant, I did enjoy Airborne quite a lot, the arcadey feel made it very much more disposed to wanting to play through the missions again, and while some of the pathways through them (especially later on) became more obviously linear, for the most part you had a convincing appearance of the freedom of choice while being led through a well scripted experience. And the paradrop was pretty cool.
All this "EA is evil stuff" is so old. We all know that Activision are clearly the new evil rulers of the video games industry.
6 missions doing the same stuff, multi-player was boring and small.
And you couldn't move while aiming. What a dumb idea.
Medal of honor: pacific assault was the shit
i REALLY liked the story.
