It's not a trap, alienware is also giving out keys for the Darkspore beta, it's somewhat fun but I'd rather play Diablo III.

Just found a glitch: Don't attempt to quit while the painting steam is still on in Darkspore. The game will freeze and you'll have to force a quit.
