Jurassic Park Operation Genesis is a theme park creator-like-clone but with jurassic park. You can create the island you want, Decor it with mountains and lakes and rivers and stuff, then start to build on it. While Building the park, you have to hire Archeologists to dig up bones so you can Change the bones into Usable DNA for dinosaurs and shit. While doing that you have to set up cages and things to feed the dinosaurs with while waiting for the dino's to finally come out. You Can set up Safari Tours and ride on them and take photos of Dinosaurs and everything. There's also the fear that the dinosaurs might break out and go on a rampage, if that happens you have to take a helicopter and You yourself have to aim and shoot the dinosaur with Tranquilizers or with actual bullets to take it down so they can put it back in the cage. Meanwhile you can build bunkers for your civillians to hide in to minimize them from getting eaten by dinos. Meanwhile you have to Cure the dinos of diseases and shit while you build up our theme park with more dinosaurs and more theme park stuff. But that's just one part of the game. Another Part is Site B, A Huge sandbox where they scrap the whole entire theme park part and just say "YOU MAKE THE DINOSAURS, WATCH WHAT HAPPENS". basically you can watch what happens when all the dinos collide. You have to breed them first though so go nuts. There's also a mission section where they give you missions to do in pre-made theme parks or at site B. It is avalible on the PC, Xbox, and Ps2, Not sure about gamecube. by the way the game is rare, going for as high as 60$ Used on the PC and 74$ used for the Xbox version. Should have been more moddable. :argh:
Oh god I remember this. My favourite thing to do was to was lift the TRex out of the pen and see if I could get it to kill anyone. As I recall it took me a surprisingly long time.
by the way this isn't the talltale game, just thought you should know and automerge rage
$170 new? Jesus christ.
I remember the graphics looking much nicer 8 years ago.
I remember this game! It was really fun. I would always connect all cages together so it'd be a natural habitat. I would then put a jeep tour through the habitat. If I got bored, I would use cheat that let me use the camera on the jeep as a machine gun and go on a hunt.
Hell yes! I wasted hours playing this. It really didn't get the attention it deserved in my opinion.
I remember the graphics looking much nicer 8 years ago.
I thought the graphics were really good for a tycoon game. Zoo Tycoon's graphics were much worse and it came out a year later. [editline]11th January 2011[/editline] My automerge! :saddowns:
This was literally the best. THE BEST Zoo tycoon ain't got shit on this. [editline]12th January 2011[/editline] WOOPSIE, my T-rex got out and killed a bunch of of people i totally didn't plan for that to happen
I had this on Ps2, it was pretty awesome.
As a massive Jurassic Park fanboy, I loved the hell out of this game. And unless the new Telltale game manages to surpass it, this is pretty much the best Jurassic Park game out there.
Oh god I remember this. My favourite thing to do was to was lift the TRex out of the pen and see if I could get it to kill anyone. I wonder how hard it is to find a PC copy for this, because by the sound of things this was more console-based :/
I loved this game, Used to unleash raptors and other flesh eater's and watch them snack on the people.
My brother got this at a Gamestop used for $40 like a year ago for PS2. What the heck it was a 6+ year old game at that time. [editline]11th January 2011[/editline] Woah it's in my PS2 bin.
I still have this game on ps2 I never used the carnivores because I always thought they would escape. Those bloody tornadoes took my ankylosaurus :v:
Screw the Tornado heat wave killed my people.

holy fuck i have this game on my xbox
Should have been more moddable. :argh:
I replaced the passenger helicopter with that of the ranger's helicopter. Looked badass.
It's an ok game and it is pretty fun for a few hours, but after while it gets boring. There just aren't enough buildings, attractions or dinosaurs in the end imo. :(
Theirs something like this for the GBA, I forget what its called but it was a great game
Looks pretty fun. It's an interesting concept for a movie game considering most of them are shooters.
I still have my copy for PC and I was going to sell it, but if it's apparently rare... :ninja:
I have this on PS2, wish I had picked it up on PC.
I still have my copy for PC and I was going to sell it, but if it's apparently rare... :ninja:
Keep it.
Great Game, still have it
It was a very good game! It is now too but I've kinda lost interest.
This game is rare? I bought it from the Morrison's bargain game section for £4.99 a couple of years back!
Fuck, I really want to play it now but I can't be arsed installing.
